I think the poll is over guys..... I think we lost.... (hope I'm wrong).... I was reading some of them post people wrote, and there was a lady that said we could live with out consuming meat.... Lol.... Typical tree hugger..... Even in Mexico we have people like that.....i can't think of Mexico not serving there delicious tacos......Kali......

no carnitas en mexico!!! no bueno!! I don't think i'd make the big trip down this spring if i couldn't get me some of that good cooking down there.

I wouldn't worry too much, it's just a poll in El Siglo de Torreón's website, it won't have any repercussions.

Also, this just tell us that the online readership of this given newspaper would like to outlaw cockfighting.

Anyway, the website itself downplays it: "Esta encuesta no indica de manera alguna estadísticas reales, ya que son basadas en la gente que visita la página desde internet solamente.", "This poll doesn't show real statistics, they're based only on website visitors."

ga coondawg. my 2 of my boys live near KC next year for the candelaria feb 2nd they planing to come down to my home town every time they down here 1 thing its a must that i make carnitas so if you ever down here jalisco you more than welcome to come an enjoy. some carnitas and some cock figths.

And as far as carnitas go... i'm addicted to em... i make my own, but they are not as good as those cooked by non gringos. I only had internet to go by... not like having some one who really knows all the tricks to making them show me how.

Ga coondawg, your Spanish is good buddy......you have to try some tacos de Marlin... Marlin tacos are awesome.....carnitas are good if the rite person makes them.... I have had carnitas that are too dry....Kali....

i learned to make mine from my dad i have his coper pot to make them in. that was my inheritance. if you ever down this way let me know i live on a area called los altos de jalisco. we can make some carnitas. last year Mike lanier was down here for the fair. had a show on a main won the blue ribbon

i aint ever had marlin tacos, but i bet they are good, i know kingfish, wahoo, grouper, snapper, red fish, trout, flounder and sheep head make good fish tacos!! I like to blacken them and use the blackened meat for the tacos.... i also like fish and eggs scrambled together and make breakfast taco's out of that...

my carnitas were too greasy.... i boiled em in their own grease till carmalized.... they there ok though.... just didn't strain em good enough i don't think.

I hear ya... I'm really trying to get my ducks in a row to make it down for the intercontinental this year in the spring... i'd come in november but my first child is due to be born the end of october so november may be a little quick for me to go off to mexico...

come home to all my stuff on the front porch and the locks changed...lol
