The owner of Tunderbird Hetch in Mexico, who is also a vet, wrote an article about molting... to sum up, he basically says that they reduce the amount of protein from theri normal 17-18% to about 10% and they reduce the amount of feed by 10grams each week starting in the month of June for four weeks (until July, when tuey reach 60grams per cock) then they increase feed 10 grams per week until they go back to 100 grams, once they are back to the regular amount of feed then they up the proteir to their normal 17-18%... By stressing roosters that way they molt faster...
What do you guys think of this method?
