dicky lim lemons???
this cocker seems to be one of the best feeders and conditioners i've seen on the WSD, does anyone know if he has a written keep or know how he conditions his birds? Dicky's birds and entries are always consistently winning and not to mention when they are clinched in the air it's like his lemons are backed by a freight train. power and speed.

Re: dicky lim lemons???
I don't have his keep. THe fowls Dicky Lim use at WSC "MUST" be at least 3 years old and at least 2 times winner.

Re: dicky lim lemons???
i think dickys lemons are lemon-butchers, lemon-sweaters, lemon-kelso, or some 3way cross with sweaters, kelso , lemon and roundheads thats what i heard on his breeding bloodlines.

Re: dicky lim lemons???
i agree with you harry...he's hiding the sweaters, kelso's, rh's, hatch's inside that 1/4 lemon and that's what i am doing this season...watch out for the ducky lim entry...if you want to be very competitive in this sport today...you must have a lemon...including to
your bagoong, inihaw, pancit palabok etc..etc..

Re: dicky lim lemons???
After the PAGBA stag derbies, Dicky Lim bought all the 26 stags of one of the co-champions............ because those stags beat his (Dicky's) own breed......
Lots of good cocks he possess were not only coming from his own breed............ he also acquired them from winners all around Negros and Iloilo....(perhaps also from far away places)....... but damn good........... those cocks are very deadly fighters indeed..........
I am not maligning Dicky or anybody affiliated with him.......... this info came from my kumpadre who happens to be the same guy who sold all his F1 last end of September 2006....... for a price per head even the meanest person will definitely gave in........ only his pair were not sold........
Last Candelaria 2006, Dicky's first 2 birds fought well, one unblemished and knocking the opponent in a single blow........... but his 3rd and 4th birds did not make it..........

Re: dicky lim lemons???
You're right there dinopatani. Dicky Lim had 2 entries, 1 was eliminated, the other made it to the finals. Most of his losses came from opponents which had exactly like his Lemons' fighting style, off beat and with the means to kill when given the slightest opportunity. My pockets were all emptied, got turned inside out with his losses but I had no regrets. I've known of his good roosters, they were pointed well and they were ready to fight and fought extremely well.
Given another opportunity, I will still bet with his roosters not because of 100% sure win, but because his roosters will always give me my money's worth.

Re: dicky lim lemons???
Personally I don't think Dicky Lim is a breeder... He buys more of his price fighters than produce them... Most of them Big Guns have people scouting birds from various QUALITY backyard operation and looking for those good ones

Re: dicky lim lemons???
i agree dicky lim for me is more of a cocker and not breeder,im circuit derby in metro manila, you seldom see dicky lim put on an entry, maybe because he is keeping his roosters to reach certain aged.

Re: dicky lim lemons???
i tip my hat to Dicky's lemon, a true fighting machine, when i watched the WSC-2006, i admired his lemons and his consistent winnings beating the aces like Patrick Antonios' entries, but hey folks......... there's a lone entry that Dicky and PA's entry........he was unnoticed because overshadowed by Dicky and Patrick....you know this guy? He is Boy Lechon. After analyzing the result Dicky and Patricks solitary loss was from Boy Lechon. Its like Boy is the equalizer.I do salute Boy's cocks.

determining cocks bloodline is generally thru his appearance like color of feathers, that is the first impression we make when we see a dalusapi ,we think of a lemon, when we see green feet we can say its a hatch, white its a claret, wine red its more of a kelso, a gray is a gray but actually only the owner can say what is the actual bloodline of a particular cock. Nowadays, we are not sure of their true bloodline since sweater now can be called a lemon too.
