Valuable & practical lessons are learned by the graduates of TJT Cocking Academy. This, coupled with the farm-based concept & learning experience, makes the Academy graduates self sufficient and capable of handling the various problems that breeders usually encounter. They also become adept on the preventive measures needed to keep their birds healthy from breeding up to the time that they will be conditioned.

October 23(thursday), 24(friday) and 25(saturday), 2008
A synopsis of what transpires in the 3 DAYS HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE:

Day 1: Farm Management: A systematic program to follow on feeding, medication, vaccination & treatment of common poultry diseases; emphasis on the right procedure on the proper care of sick birds to bring them back to their peak of health.

Day 2: Conditioning: Feeding program from Pre-Con stage to Conditioning up to pointing. All the detailed procedures on training, pointing, moisture management, travelling and everything that should be done on FIGHT DAY.

Day 3: Art of Heeling; Post Battle Care; Additional Pointing Techniques & Graduation Rites.

Much has been said, much has been done, and with this, much has been achieved.
Satisfactory achievements which bait men and lurked their interests to
constantly discover that the academy offers to its students. These students are
not treated as just ordinary persons who came into the academy in order to
learn, but are given with special attention in order to satisfy them and offer
at their very eyes what they seek for. With this aim, TJT Cocking Academy and
together with Thunderbird, its office and personnels are working hand in hand
and in a joined forces, as we say. From the very comfortable and nice reception
area for which the attendees found themselves to relax for a while, to the
hospitable and accommodating individuals who assist the attendees, for giving
them something to take while waiting for the others to come, down to the ample
vans which transport the students to RHAMM Gamefarm, Alfonso, Cavite, and giving
them an enjoyable and comfortable feeling as they watch an exciting movies while travelling along the road for a couple of hours. All of these were not been a difficult task for the Thunderbird and TJT to comply. Unnoticed, this brings out the academy and Thunderbird to gain patronization of the rest, in which one man multiply into two
and three. Some really encourage others to try to join the academy. Thunderbird
has always been at the back of TJT Cocking Academy, tireless for the back ups
that it had extended to the academy.

For the frontlines, this month's seminar gained 25 students who participated in the activity. We have 2 representatives coming from the Thunderbird, and the rest of the 3 attendees travelled from Zamboanga, Bohol, Negros, and Pampanga in order to be a part of this prestigious and knowledgeable activity that TJT Cocking Academt offers. We have one special person who attended this November Seminar, the Illustruous Bobby Fernandez, who spent his time for this three-day cocking seminar. Mr. Jun Jamandores, the publisher/editor of the 20 years existent Fighting Cock Magazine. My goodfriend,american breeder, Mr. Richard Lanier had also shared his time, effort, knowledge, and gorgeousness which is evidently clear to the students. The seminar has been worth its goodness because of Mr. Lanier. Doc Laurence is also present with his awesome raffle games. All of them can be concluded to have enjoyed because of the light faces that they wore for the rest of the activity. Happiness and learnings are
really endless. One can find enjoynment and camaraderie at TJT Cocking Academy...
