Bruce Barnett Sweaters

We all know that bruce sweaters came from carol nesmith. my question is, what type of sweater did he got, the $5000 line or the possum ?

he got both and keep the hen side of the possum when they split...thats what i hear...

Though we are all in agreement that Bruce got some of the good Sweaters from Carol, I believe he bought his own stock from Sonny Ware too. He enough got some from Newton Wade and they traded brood stock from time to time. I don't think Carol NeSmith should get all the credit, it's my opinion.

Whooo... The Left Nose blood is a marking of Bruce's sweater... His FOUNDATION blood when he started with his sweaters... It is not a TRAIT that will POP up or throwback...

Instead of calling them possum, 5K, golden boy, mower etc... He refers to them as the Left Nose... The Left Nose Original is long gone, but his blood is still with Bruce's sweaters... This blood is still in Bruce's place in Nauvoo... Different marking na lang...

If other famous breeders refer to their broodcock/stocks as the 5k or possum or mower or golden boy or juan tamad, he calls his the Double Right, Left Out Right Nose, Double Left, the Left Out etc...

THE SWEATER FOUNDATION
• Cecil the original Davises is the one who raised the Sweaters. These roosters are grandsons of a Hatch yellow legs that Sweater Mcginnis gave Mr. to him Walter Kelso. This rooster I cross myself Kelso hens and to one their Cecil children Davis again put it on Kelso hens. The result of this last one crosses is considered like the Sweaters original (old or old Sweater blood in the terms of Carol Nesmith).
• Johnny Jumper obtains the Sweaters of Cecil directly Davis, Carol Nesmith indirectly obtains them from Roy Brady, Dink Fair and Bruce Barnett obtains them through their association with Carol.
• Carol developed the most successful lines in the Philippine championships.
• Carol handles like its more successful lines the Possum, those of 5000 and the original or old Sweater bloods. These bloods are referred in the photos that are in this document.
• Carol Nesmith uses to make his you cross lines Sweater, Yellow Leg Hatch and Kelso yellow legs.
• The mixture of original bloods of the Sweaters is 3/4 Kelso and 1/4 Yellow Leg Hatch

75k trio, 1 bull stag 2 hen pure sweater, mark LO-RN
18k crosses 3/4 sweater 1/4 kelso mark left out

My second Double Left Stag from Bruce... To be bred to my pure/straight Osage Possum Sweaters and White legged Kelsos from James Campbell of Ohio to produce 3/4 Sweater 1/4 kelso and 3/4 Kelso 1/4 Sweater battle crosses...

The first double left I got from him is medium in station, hopefully, this one will add/compliment the size...
