Jorge Torres Blacks
Hi,
Anyone know what black family Jorge Torres uses? I heard it was Black McRae. Can anyone confirm?
And any info on him would be nice too. He just came out of nowhere with these blacks. 3 years ago, I never heard that name.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks.

also, I've been seeing some dark, very dark, legged reds that shuffles "faster than an UZI machine gun auto blasts." I mean one long fast shuffles that don't require a second round as you know what would have happened. These cocks are news to me...any posts?

I think J.T. lives in Ontario, CA. Dial area code (909) 555-1212 for long distance directory assistance.

J. Torres
:rbounce:
I am not sure if you are talking about the same guy, but if it is the same J. Torres that I have heard of, he uses alot of Gene Batias bloodline. Don't know necessarily about the black birds, but he has shown some outstanding sweater blood from Gene down at Sunset with great success.

Re: J. Torres
He's only 3 miles away from my house. I think ATU gamefarm of Davao bred some of his fowl.

Frank Ellis Brownreds
Sir,
If you are referring to Jorge that fights at sunset. The Black roosters that he is fighting are the old frank ellis brownred lines. Mr. Torres gave 10,000 dollars for the brownreds after joe mac fought them at sunset and won the debry. He then had Jackie Rogers of Geraldine Alabama breed and supply him the brownreds each year. These Brownreds are outstanding fowl that can fight in the long knife. Fast as lighting and can break to the lights. Mr. Torres fought a show of them at sunset crossed on asils in the short knife and won 6-1 a couple of years ago. I also know that Jackie raised a couple hundred of the brownreds and some had a 1/4 asil in them. I obtained both my asils and brownreds from Jackie Rogers of Geraldine alabama. This is the story behind the brownreds. If you have any questions, please email me at baby35771@yahoo.com.
Sincerely,
Darryl Yates (John 3:16)

George Torres Blacks
Bamablack is 100% right. George Torres Blacks are the Old Frank Ellis Brownreds lines. I personally know George here in California. He is the Big time promoter here in our area when it comes to Derby. He is a real nice guy as oppose to some other people think about him. I too, have obtained that Frank Ellis Brownreds thru the kindness of "BAMABLACK" in Alabama. Thank you, Mr. Yates.

I am wondering if he was using the same blacks back in Quartsite , AZ, he labeled them as Show Time. Those were awesome cutters. Otherwise I have known him always using good lines at late he was using Sweaters from Jean.

Jorge Torres
If you have been around the Southern California Cocking sport for years, we have two JT's. JT mata (tantalizing eyes) is the Kabalen from Pampanga and JT balbas (bushy beard) is the Caviteneo. Both of them are very good people. Sometimes, we joke around and we call them the good and the bad but not ugly.
JT mata is one of the premier cockers not only in California and Arizona but also down Louisanna and Oklahoma. JT commutes to and from S. Calif. and Louisiana-Mississippi.
JT mata has the excellent Blacks and one of the best White Clarets. He has several breeds and most of all, JT mata is a very talented evaluator of cocks.

Paul F
During the Copperstate years, PF was one of the biggest supporters of the sport until Arizona voted against it. But before the end of legal C in Arizona, PF ran the Quartzsite Pit a few miles from Copperstate and he made it worth our weekend there and his wife and family served one of the best Filipino foods in the West. PF is still around doing a little here and there. Lastly, if you wanted to have a Main and at what amounts of bets, you called PF and he arranged it. He was also a very good handler (until he got hurt) and a good referee too. Of course, he is another Kabalen who is a diehard Sabongero like his Kabalen friends: JT, Romy A and Big Money Mando.

Re: Jorge Torres Blacks
Have had the honor to run alongside Mr. Jorge Torres. Very good guy contrary to what others are saying. He has two type of black that he is using brownreds and some sid taylor. I'm refering to those that I have seen him show . The brownreds are from Jared of Alabama (a father and son tandem). Met them breeders at a show they flew over. As for the Sid they can be shown in any type . Have seen both in action. Good cuting birds.

Re: Jorge Torres Blacks
The sid that he uses can be shown in any type of weapon. They side step and give one fatal blow as well as dishing out multiple shots. Sure hitters and pack a lot of power. As for the brownreds they are very good sk birds. Have seen them as well in action.

Re: Jorge Torres Blacks
Lots of JT's with Mcres lol. I breed Blacks also. This breeding season is 75% of Blacks(pure or cross). I didn't breed too much. Maybe around 200 or so. But man they are some nice looking high station monsters. I'm planning to join the WSD this coming Jan. Once when I could find a farm that I could trust to leave the gamefowls with if they won there event at the WSD. I want someone to countiniue the bloodline that won at the WSD. I'll be bringing 21 gamefows. 5 Mcreas,5 Roundheads, 5 Kelso, and 3 whites & 3 Greys. Those 21 will be selected from 250 gamefowls. Out of the 21. 8 will be selected for the WSD. 2 BLACKS,2 ROUNDHEADS,2 KELSO, AND 1 WHITE & 1 GREY. I'm gonna enter my bloodline and hope I could have a good shot against the big boys. I had some gamefowls that was in the PI to get ready for the WSD. I had 30 set aside that was gonna get ready but they all got stolen last month.

i knew troy dale prater from the time he was about 14 years old, i had won cocker of the year at the commonwealth game club that year, iam thing around 19-98 or 99, at the end of the season i let troy dale have 32 cocks, out of the 32 were 18 pure black and black cross cocks, he showed them at sunset, driving the cocks 21 hrs from va, and he told me that a george torres backed the cocks, he went 17 out of 19 with 18 of these blacks, there was a pure black cock marked double nose that i had shown 2 times that year, i told troy to bring the cock back and breed him if he made it through, and so he did, later mr. torres bought a fram in la. and troy moved his roosters down on the farm, i remenber troy calling me and it was about march, he told me that it had rained from nov" and the roosters were in mud and had lost there health to crd. i gave him a med regiame that i thought would work, and he said it helped some, but soon after that moved back to va, now i am not saying that his sid blood is that of mine, no one knows that but him and his friends, but they very well could be. f.i.s.maybe troys brother arnold would know as he might still keep in touch with mr. torres, best regards Mr. Ray Christian.
