richard bates hatch

Been following this thread and i still look forward to seeing pics of the famous richard bates blacks...Maybe black in appearance but contains high percentage of the bates hatch...

I like this thread and very informative...Well I have another person that I known who got some nice mugs,He is a cebu based breeder and doin good with his mugs..Power + power = Gameness...I think this is what richard aiming and used it at the same time as his base.

Up....still looking forward to seeing the pics of those famous richrd bates blacks...aside from the man himself who else got those blacks willing to sell some for an affordable price....

No pictures yet???? we are still waiting for the pictures of those bates blacks, i am not a black lover but i am curious about these bates blacks coz we've been hearing great stories about them...good all around fighter, shuffler and game to the core..unlikely for a black fowl whom i perceive to be quitters/sulkers...pics pls....tnx

i just called mr bates this afternoon asking for the price of is trio.. he told me that mature trio is 50k while young trio is 35 k..
forgot to ask where is his farm hehehe

where did you get the birds as I own some of the best BATES hatch in US i got mine from mr bates in late 60s and later got some from another source that is one of the top rooster men inSUNSET I sure would like to kknow more

Pics of an authentic bates black is what i love to see...there are pics i've seen but they vary from one breeder to another, any pic of bates black from the man himself???

i have acquired bates black this was last september 2003. the bearer was a friend of my uncle. they brought it to me and swap it with my stag. this bates black according to the bearer won 2x or 3x it has a wound broken chest and leg cannot walk. i treated the wounds and by jan. 2004 bates black has completely recover and can walk. his tale had grown. i used him as my broodcock. it was very excellent that his breeds won for atleast 2-4xs. they most won dead or injure in their last fight. this bates black made us known here in our place. last saturday we fought our our last stag winning his 2nd fight for about 10secs but also died after the fight.

Blandy Tolentino had been fighting this blacks in bigtime derbies, And they are excellent fighters, pag yun binitawan nya pusta na namin lahat pera sa bulsa hehe, tira lang pamasahe, at ang gagaling ng panalo.
