Need help guys. I'm getting at least a trio from whoever comes out on top of this poll.

Who's sweaters are doing better in CURRENT (within the last 3 years to present) big money derbys?

Who's sweaters are the most consistent?

I was at the 2008 WSC and San Juan Int'l derby... if I am not mistaken.. Adkins participated in one of this event. You have to know what they showed in this event and that will help you decide.

I am not a sweater fan but I have the Blackwater Possum.

Just help him get it when he choose whos who.
your friendship will go further...

and let him pay directly the breeder and the shipper
just do the legwork assistance in token of your frienship..

that's GREAT advice. I only wish that HE would pick. He has left it up to me even after I insisted that he should. To add to that, he has left it up to me to pay. =)

i tried from both of them and infused it to my old proven lines and their winning % over the other. but just a cent, what works for might not work for you.. f you have xtra budget try both and you can tell w/c one works for you... if your tight try to do more research and pick w/c one you think is better and suitable for you standards..

All I know is Jen Jen Arayata won the WSC... and if I am not mistaken... he showed some sweater blend... where he got his sweater... well once you find out.... that will give you one good idea where to go.

weve got slick and he's doin fine.
my friends also had their own slick, and giving them wins.
gene batia, i have no idea.

try asking more on batia's sweater.

Our Gene Batia Sweaters crossed with the lemons and hatches were making a great winning percentage this season... out of 26 cocks we fought in visayas 21 wins 4 losses and 1 draw, Jojo Cruz of Bulacan got sweater crossed from us 13 wins out 15 , Glen Tan of A& G combine entry solo champion last march29 2008, Balete, Aklan 4 cock derby 64 entries using bakbakan banded bulstag from us...thanks to Roadman for his whole hearted support ... Acording to many top breeders, Dink chickens are not cutting. It is said that he breeds for beauty only. He has many sweater bloodlines and they all no good. That is why he is infusing the Cowan blood into his sweaters to make them game and cut. ask any top breeder.

Jerry Adkins got his sweaters from Odis Chappel in 1991 and produced a lot of wins in the spur and long knife. He infused his sweaters to the pure sweaters of Newton Wade ,who was his friend in the coal mine , to produce his present bloodline, ALL FOUR Sweater. Carol Nesmith got his sweaters from Newton Wade. These includes dink fair and bruce barnett . Anyway, these breeders have a common denominator on where they got there sweaters. (Newton Wade).
