Good day to all fellow sabongeros from around the globe... Greetings and Pit Senyor! to all from the queen city of the south Cebu City, Philippines.

JUNBONJOC production of Hataw Gamefarm will cover the upcoming prestigious Sinulog 6 cock derby 2009 to be held at Century Gameclub, Banawa, Cebu City. Cockpit owner - Mr. Nonoy Chiongbian.

Pot Money: Php 11,000.00
Prize Money: 3 Million
Minimum bet: Php 2,500.00
Elimination dates (2cocks): January 9, 10, 11, & 12, 2009
Semi-finals (4cocks Insurance): January 13 & 14, 2009
Finals (Championship): January 15, 2009

DVD's will out and will be publish here after a few months, just watch for the updates...

good morning... yes its always more than 200 entries coz as i remember sinulog 2007 has a prize money of 1.5M and pot money was 15T. Last year 2008 has a prize money of 2M with a pot money of 15T and now its really getting bigger with a prize money of 3M with a lesser pot money of just 11T. more and more entries are expected to participate this year from bacolod, dumaguete, iloilo, leyte, bohol, cagayan de oro city, butuan, davao and up to as far as zamboanga.

good morning wildcards: nope... it doesn't have any live coverage yet since it is very costly to do such one... pero i hope later on it will come to realize and their will be bigtime friends from mostly outside P.I. who will support and make partners to us and put bigtime derbies from cebu live via the internet. as of now i can't support with that huge amount of expenses since it will deal with additional crews.

i forgot who was the champion last year... Sige lang coz there is a bigtime derby also by march... its the CVBA Director's Cup 2009 and it will be held in Talisay Sports Complex. last year's prize money was 2M, i think this year it will have a prize money of 3M also since the members of CVBA are rapidly increasing, where we are a member also of said group. CVBA closes last year with almost 200 members.

There is also 4 or 5cock Anniversary Derby at Gallera de Mandaue with Col. Loot and company sometime the month of February... not sure yet of the exact dates and i guess prize money is 1Million.

The format is 2-4. You must win 2 points to qualify for the finals on Jan. 15, 2009. Otherwise if you only scored 1 or 1&1/2, you fight on the insurance round, either Jan. 13 or 14, 2009.

Your chickens already competed in this event, 1 entry of our friends' Draven and George used your roosters last year, they were in the money with 4 points. For 2 years running they are always in the money, last 2007 they together with G.O. used Virgin Maya roosters and also scored 4 points. I would like to wish them and all other cybercockers luck this year and hope that they get it this time around.

Thanks Chris, Draven informed me as well. I was planning to compete these year but I mixup with the schedule, I was thinking that it would be on the month of February. Well, maybe next year we can field an Entry.

the banawa cockpit is very near to
the hotels, and inns.....
fuente circle lots of hotels there, and the capitolyo area too....
nightlife is very alive and exciting in cebu esp. during the sinulog festival!!!

extreme 20, 1 entry will be ises (my granddaughter), other will be financed, blue velcro crosses (cowan & boston) 1 entry, the other mostly greys, don't know if they selected any roger's fowls (spanglekelso) or reds, but the fowl has velcro blood, lancey or roger (some of the greys are 1/2lancey1/4roger).
