Went to Mayor's Farm lat October 2-3... may mga off season breeding ngayon si Mayor... and ganda talaga na lugar....nung binalot ng ulap yung farm e ang hirap huminga.....hehehe..... hatch gey over kelso crosses ang i-try nila ngayon....

archangel...lets move up this thread..... dami daw nag-iinquire sa kanya if he has website but sadly wala na talaga daw sia time to attend it... kaya naisipan ko na magbukas ng thread that talks about Mayor.... Sarap talaga ka-chicken talk ni Mayor... dami mo talaga matututunan..... how he maintains his bloodlines for more than 40 years is really superb.... a lot of sacrifice..... sabi nga nia...di na nia namalayan na more than 40 years na sia nagmamanok.....

MOST OF MY MANOKIS AND PALAHI ARE JGA......see my avatar it's 75% JGA GREY. as per my observation mas lalong gumagaling after 1 year old dahil until now no loss...pero kapag stag 50/50% ang record.

medyo yan din observation nung kakilala ko na nag-breed ng JGA bloodlines.... lemon-hatches ang pede sa stag derbies...medyo hirap din daw ata ihanda ang lemon-greys pag stag pag pointing na.... un lang feedback sakin ha... but yung battlecrosses ni Mayor e mga kelso-grey ngayon....white/light yellow legs but ang mukha nia e hatchgrey....

madami kami mga experimental crosses this season ni Mayor.... but we will still breed grey to grey and lemon to lemon matings.... we will try a grey-RLB black to produce dirty greys....

testing lang.....

may mga offseason na palabas si Mayor.... but sabi nia next season e mag-produce lang sia ng pang Bakbakan ang pang NGBA na stags....siguro around 300-400 lang ata i-produce nia next season...

hehehe...if you can have both its really better....

each bloodline have weakness and strength...i think they really compensate with each other....

just some words from JGA...everytime gusto nia na magtest magpasok ng bago bloodline, they need to be crossed first to either lemon or grey.... siguro kasi alam or kabisado na ni Mayor talaga yung characteristics ng bloodline nia.....protocol nia un sa farm nia....

pure lemon's problem is somewhat their speed... preferred ni Mayor to cross it a a more speed fowl.....

sabi nga ni Mayor....every season is still a mystery....hehehe.... ganyan talaga breeding.... lalo na if you will try to infuse other strain....

I think greys can be bred to lightfowls (lemon,kelso,sweater)...... yung grey kasi ni mayor pede din ilaban e..so pede din talga to maintain the grey over hatches...then paikot....

the lemons as i see them spar e nag-break ng mga 2-3 buckles then after that yung trademark na nila na offbeat na mga vertical flips yung ginagawa nila with matching ilag... sometimes pag ng vertical sila then di sumama yung kalaban e parang tumitigil sila ng konti sa ere and sa palagay ko yung yung offense-defense nila kasi ma-oout timing nila yung nag-aabang sa baba na kalaban kung split second e titigil sila sa ere... but when yung pagtigil nila sa ere e nakakita sila ng chance na mag-take ng offensive attack...gagawin nila yun habang pababa na sila sa ere. pure lemon somewhat needs a little bit of speed than the hulsey greys... maybe just a dash of hatch and you can have a mean fighing machine....!

very deadly pag nagpawala sila ng palo sa puntong iyan

ano ba magandang marking ang ang pwedeng kunin kay juancho aguirre?
anong mga ibang bloodline ang nai infuse na nya sa lemon nya to refresh the old lemon blood?
