Re: Harold Brown Grey
I have the DN Redfox Grey Direct about 6yr ago, They are a power cock and agressive and can cut. The can perform straight bred as long as they are fought thin. In the LK they are awsome at 1/4 crossed with lemons, clarets and roundheads.
I have some pictures of the RED FOX Grey in my gallery and on my website.
Hope this helps
Cheers

Re: Harold Brown Grey
my good friend, owner of Mirabella real farm got a bunch of reds and greys direct from Suzanne Brown of Red fox Gamefarm, they are doing very well, fighting pures and crosses. They add power, will to win the game and can cut too.
I got this one, f1 of the imported trio, he is a one time winner, almost unblemished.

Re: Harold Brown Grey
CAUSING BROTHERS GAMEFARMS & JPC GAMEFARM has authentic REDFOX GREYS & REDS.
We acquired it handpicked & direct from REDFOX FARM. We also have an old line of Harold Brown Greys. Rover of CICA can attest to that.

Re: Harold Brown Grey
..My family raised Harold's greys for Harold for over thirty years,Harold Got them originally from W.T. Green then got some more from Sweater McGuiness..
..They were 100% silver back,100% SC'ed,100% green legged and had extra wide backs, they cut decent when fought straight, but not what one would want to make an entry from, theyhad more power than any Hatch out there at that time, but a little to game to be shown straight,it did'nt matter what you crossed them with, they improved it,added bottom, gamness, livibility and stamina..
..Harold bought many hundred cocks a year,Hatch looking and greys,if you have the PCs? you either have his Hatch Greys or something he bought and resold..
..The greys from Harold's grand daughter Rochelle aka "Redfox farm" ARE NOT Harold Brown greys, notta drop.
..here's some trivia for y'all,,Red Richardson stold his greys from Billy Buble which were "somewhat" a HB grey but not entirely..

I will be seeing WT Greene in a few days... I'll ask him if Harold bought some greys from him. I'll keep you posted.

I would be interested to know also Silver, when I talked to Mr. Brown in the seventies, he said the greys were his old Law Grey and Hatch. He said his best were the Hatchgrey and Claret cross.

..Oh I have no doubts that that could be correct too,he at one point had white legged greys around there,he had some Laws that I think he got out of SC. or Ga.But his bread and butter greys that he used came from Mr.Green and looked just like Silver2Dmoon's avatar..

Re: Harold Brown Grey
Harold Brown got his greys originally from E.W. Law years ago. There is an interview with Harold years ago in Grit and Steel about Harold and his fowl. Ill tell ya something else just for your info, Harold Brown ordered Lieper's from Howard Suttles of Palmetto, Ga., on several occasions to put new blood in his fowl. I had the opportunity along with my father when we visited Mr. Suttles to see the letters from Harold to Mr. Suttles requesting cerain cocks of his straight and peacomb liepers..

Re: Harold Brown Grey
I've seen fights of circle L HB greys, terrible ground fighters but they somehow lack in break, lots of feet but only mid breakers...
