Hatch/Sweater any opions
We breed out a few Hatch/Sweaters this year. Does any one have any opinion of this breeding. Thanks

I also cross my Hatch to my Sweaters. Based from my experience the half and halfs although are good and still winning, my 3/4 Sweater-1/4 Hatch are better fighters on the yellow leg side. Also my 3/4 Hatch-1/4 Sweater are also my better fighters on the green leg side. Will be Going 5/8 3/8 to see if they will be better yet. I also made some three way crosses between Hatch-Sweater-Roundheads and they have great conformation but they are still a little young to start trying out.

if it is pure for leg color green legged hatch if not , like if it is blue legged cock you will get white legged roosters and blue and breen legged pullets if the blue legged cock is not pure for leg color you will also get yellow legged stags then here is a link to a genetic leg coloring chart by breeding
