What is the best blood to cross with sweaters for short knife and what blood is best for the long knife??? please share pics and videos of your crosses also. thanks

I don't know what the best is, but I am currently breeding Hatch/sweaters, MG/sweaters. All three are good bloodlines and I will see next year on the out come.

in my opinion sir why do you have to cross it when infact you can fght it as it is.besides sweaters are crosses and can fght even long or short knife.try it first, then observe what is lacking in them then thats the time you decide what to infuse

Actually pure sweaters sulk in short knife. You need to cross them with kelso or hatch fowl. My personal opinion.

the reason i ask about the cross is because ive seen pure sweaters win very quick in the LK, in two pittings the other rooster was gone, but in the short knife they tend to take a little longer to finish the fight. i think that sweaters need a cross to be as good in the sk as they are in the lk imo. thats why i ask

i fought 2 CK x possum and 1 LDT boston RH x possum at tha stags.won very convincingly.
fought 7 won 7 this year 1 hacfight(straight possum), 2 cocks(straight possum)"co-champ" and lately in paniqui tarlac march 21 4 cocks (pure possum) "co-champ".

They can be fought crossed or pure.just take care of them from eggs to the pit , they will give you good results.

the sweaters that i got from dink are accurate cutters but lacks speed and finishing.. I crossed them with my leiper hatch.. and gilmore hatch.. to add speed power.. and will to finish the game

For long knife: sweater x roundhead or kelso or any fast accurate cutting lightfowls

For short knife: sweater x mclean or albany or any game heavystrain fowls

Of course, test the cross in the ring...if it nicks then continue the cross...no rule of thumbs here...what works for you may not work for others...just keep an open mind and experiment to your heart's desire, lastly, don't forget to listen to intuition coz it works like magic for some people.

i am not surprised that your dink is missing speed...i'd rather have a accurate cutter than the speed of light and who need's a finishing if the shots are accurate...
