Eagle hybrid - Sabong, Cockfighting and Gamefowl Posting Pit

I remember reading an article. I cannot recall which magazine it was in. In that article it spoke of a eagle cross. Do not quote me on it but from what I remember the offspring were devastating pit birds. Just wondering if there are pics of any other info on this. Just something interesting to see. I am skeptical about it but hey if they can cross a guinea with a chicken or a peacock and chicken.

My friend told me about crossing with pheasants. He told me he saw one fight and that it was a very fast bird that won quick. I didn't believe him till one day he got a pair of pheasants and he put the the pheasant hen with a cock and pheasant cock with game hen and only the pheasant hen layed eggs but one day his dogs got loose and killed his birds and messed up the nest so nothing hatched. We were very excited.

I've seen the Chicken and pheasant crosses they are real but not good for fighting. Just Google it you'll find lots of pictures.

If this was all true wouldnt everybody be makes these crosses to have unbeatable fowl? think there might be alittle wind behind this story

If I can recall it correctly it's from Liwayway Magazine in which they published a series of comics, the story revolves around a hybrid fowl, an offspring between a hen and an eagle.

The eagle chicken cross was done before. It was bred by former actor Dennis Roldan and the picture of the creature came out in one of the old local gamefowl journals. It looked more like a penguin chick than a rooster or eagle. It did not look like it could fight

This was probably around 15 years ago.

I think Mr. Efraim Aguilar wrote an article about this in the Gamecock magazine.

I don't know about eagles breeding with chickens...sounds more like an article from those cheap bizarre topic tabloids you can snatch off a grocery cashier counter on the last moment before you leave...

Pheasant-Chicken crosses though are a reality...but like a horse x to a donkey, or a Muscovy duck x Mallard duck, they produce "MULES"....individuals which are incapable of reproducing.

Well they say Mules cant have babies.My grandpa always wanted to cross a red tailed hawk with my chickens he was just bull s$#@.in he knew it wouldnt work.

Sometimes only one sex in a hybrid is sterile. Mare mules have been known to have foals. At Texas A&M they had one that had a foal from a Jack and the next yr out of a stud horse. I believe a tiger x lion hybrid will be fertile, but only bred one way, I can't remember which way. An eagle and chicken will not breed, too far apart in number of chromosomes.

a pheasant will follow a bunch of free ranging hens around, and possibly try to top them... but how do you put an eagle and a chicken together? it doesn't matter which side is male and which side is female, the eagle will eat the chicken... unless you are talking about cloning... it can't be done by regular folks with regular breeding method.

You put a gamecock on pheasant hens. Use it will work, and yes it will usually be a mule.

The same as usually a mule will be a "mule" or sterile. Red Factor canaries came from a cross with a Finch. They were usually a "mule" also. You keep looking for the one that isn't a "mule". After lots of time and luck you might get the right one. With every generation that passes you get less "mules" until they are breedable.

Chicken and Eagle or Hawk. No way. Mike is correct there.

I woldn't want to even try, when I was younger I watched a pheasant come out of the seeds towards one of the older stags running around, I thought man that pheasant gonna eat him up, shoot let me tell ya, pheasants can not fight and they are not game lol

have you guys read an old mexican historical book named"El gallo de pelea" it was written in 1974 by Leonor gallo Quevedo and the author clearly states that you can cross a pheasont with a chicken...he also says that you can do the same with births with prey but only using artificial insimination because they would not mate naturally.......

I would like to see a wild turkey and a game chicken cross I have seen alot of them go at it sounded like baseball bats hitting each other my old neighbor had 2 wild turkey hens fighting all the time and they were just as mean

I have heard about the Ringneck Pheasants being crossed with fowl. A friend of mine told me they are quick and mostly will go hitting for the opponents head. I do not believe it unless I see it with my own eyes. Honestly, i will try to breed them, if it fails just getting rid of them immediately.
