Re: BILLY RUBLE HATCH
my rubles are medium station and break about waist high and they break on anything that moves.i have always wondered why they eat so much.they will eat three times what my roundheads eat.my old brood cock was eleven when he died and weighed over seven pounds.

Re: Ruble Hatches
[FONT="Comic Sans MS" I have and maintain a VERY solid family of Ruble Hatch from Travis Clark. They are a dark red family that come med.high station, 85% pea comb 100% dk. green leg, with a black ring around their eyes, cocks average weight from 5-2 to 5-13 their best quality is that raw bone crushing power and deadly ground game, even though they lack the flying athletic style of my McLeans, their not lacking on intelligence in any way, they just play the field in a little more HATCH RUGGED manner, and they exell at what they do. I have had impressive results combining Rubles with McLean. another thing is they are very gentile and a pleasure to have in the hand and in the cockhouse. If you want check em out on my website www.steelgamefarm.wetpaint.com ][/FONT]

Re: Ruble Hatches
My friend has had his ruble hatch for 30+ years, they are awesome especially crossed with his Allen roundheads. But some of them are real mean.

Re: Ruble Hatches
Here in the p.i., Otec Geroso who passed away a few months ago kept this solid line of rubles
Sharing here a pic of the inbred Ruble trio he sent to be displayed at the World Gamefowl Expo, January of this year. This was a pic taken coming straight out of the box from Bacolod.
Straight combed, Blue-legged with the characteristic white ears
