2011 Bakbakan Finals LIVE on 02-Dec-2011

For the very first time, we can watch the live coverage of Bakbakan Finals.

Previously, Bakbakan finals is always held at Araneta Coliseum, wherein no live coverage is allowed, but for this year, NFGB decided to hold the finals at Pasay Cockpit on 02-Dec-2011. What does this mean?

This means that this will be broadcasted LIVE nationwide via Sagupaan Global Cockfightlive and worldwide via cockfightlive dot com. We would be able to support our hometown entries live in Pasay. This would mean participants would get maximum exposure and accolades they deserve.

If you become a finalist, the world will be watching.

Indeed, a very good decision by NFGB officers! Cheers!

Hi Airwin, since you're from Iloilo, if ever you make it to the finals, would it be better if your fights are shown live in Iloilo Coliseum? Win or lose, pag-uwi mo sainyo sikat ka na.

NFGB is bringing the Finals Fights closer to the public. It is also ideal since not all can afford to go to Metro Manila. You can just go to a cockpit subscribed to Sagupaan Global and pay minimal entrance fee, saves you time as well. And for us here working overseas, this is a red letter day for us. Just my opinion

Sa Rambulan2 kasi sumasali si Airwin sir hehe kaibigan ko yan...mas ok sir sa Araneta kasi iba ang atmosphere at prestige kesa sa Pasay pero ok na rin kasi live sa global kung OFW ka...

Ang sa akin lang kung me entry ka at dito ka sa pinas mas ok sa Araneta pero kung mag travecia ka lang or nasa ibang bansa ok na rin ang Pasay kasi mapanood sa global kahit sng lugar ka man...

hintayin na lang natin magbukas ang Mall of Asia na Coliseum baka next year doon na gaganapin hehehe

Pasay has the best kasadors in Butchoy and Eric.
Pasay being live on air means more fairness and transparency.
Pasay has the better protection for the betting public. Big events in Araneta are frequented
by unscrupulous entities. Sa Pasay, di na makakapasok yan dahil kilala na sila.
And lastly, the exit and repay entrance policy does not exist in Pasay

alam mo john tingin ko isa pang issue dito kung bakit lumipat ang nfgb sa pasay tulad ng ginawa ng lgba ay yung taas ng singil ng araneta. first and foremost alam naman natin na hindi naman talaga sabungan ang araneta coliseum. yung mga nagpapatakbo nyan mga negosyante. ngayong nalaman nila na lucrative business din ang pagpapasabong ayan na pati sa sharing ng gate proceeds syempre parang renta yan pataas ng pataas. alam ko pag lumampas ng certain time dyan sa araneta may additional na bayad na. masarap talaga magpasabong dyan bakit hindi. big dome eh. pero naturally may rason din kung bakit inaayawan na ng mga derby promoter much more ng mga malalaking assocations.

Correct ka dyan Bro Mark. Marami ring sked ang Bakbakan 2011 sa Araneta, yung RGBA elims dun sila. May nationwide elims and semis din at yung pre-finals sa Araneta, 01-Dec-2011, so di rin nawala ang Bakbakan sa Araneta. Yung grand finals lang ang nalipat sa Pasay.

Eto rin lang comment ko, for OFW breeders and financiers, you have watched live your stags fought their way through elims and semis and qualified for the finals but then there is no coverage for the championship fights? This move to Pasay solves that.

Maganda din sa Pasay iba nga lang ang dating kung sa Araneta ginawa ang Grandfinals parang mas mataas ang prestige. Nasanay na kasi lahat na sa Araneta ang finals ng mga Big Events kaya halos lahat nangarap makarating ng Araneta. Dream come true ika nga kapag nakarating manok mo sa Araneta.

Maganda din ang kuha sa DVD ng mga laban sa Araneta pati ambiance.
Pagkakaiba lang mapapanood mo ng live laban mo sa Pasay pero may lapses din kasi minsan nawawala din signal at mabagal at malabo ang reception.

Ako as a participant mas nanaisin ko na sa Araneta Grandfinals kung aabot ako sa finals. Pero ang magdedesisyon nyan ay yun mga opisyal pa rin ng Bakbakan.

Malaking event ang Bakbakan sana kaya ng Pasay i-accomodate ang cockhouse, parking, dami ng tao napapasok.

IMHO siguro kung wala naman mali sa nasimulan na bakit kailangan baguhin pa. At kung ang issue ay rental bakit 2 semis ay kaya doon gawin?

kay MVP na yung araneta di po ba? di siguro nagsasabong si MVP.. kasi kung sabungero yun malamang mas malaki ang promotion ng Slasher.. gaya ng ginawa nya sa PBA.. pinarating sila KOBE and the super frens 100M ata inubos dun.. apat na $400k tapos the rest of the NBA $100k each ang balita ko to play.

Sana ay magawan na din ito ng paraan para sa oras ng laban ay tuloy tuloy ang panonood ng mga sabungero.

bro john, synonymous na kasi ang Araneta sa big fights like the WSD. for some, prestige na lang ang hinahabol.

but since breeders derby ang bakbakan, the more exposure the breeder gets will equate to more sales!

bro teksas, matagal ng real time napapanood laban sa Pasay via satellite ng solar sports sa mga sabungan na nakasubscribe sa Sagupaan Global. Sa Laguna, ang alam kong nakasubscribe dito ay cabuyao cockpit, parati kasing binabati ng mga hosts. at the same time, ibino-broadcast din nila ito sa internet sa cockfightlive at sabongking na as far as I know ay nag-invest din to upgrade their servers. may admin din sila dun na pwd maka-chat kung may problema sa live streaming pero yun ay kung ikaw ay paid subscriber. may backup pa sila dun na kung sakali may problema sa satellite signal, lumilipat sila sa internet broadband connection with a separate camera. ang pagkakaalam ko rin binabagalan nila ang live streaming kung ang viewer sa internet ay nasa pilipinas or priority ang mga nasa abroad sa bandwidth distribution. ang biggest come on nila ay yung graphics ng entries being displayed on screen with the weights at parati ring binabanggit ng mga hosts ang owners at running score na ngayon ay may graphics na rin.

sina chef_jolo/karl t/art t ang nakakaalam sa lahat ng mga cockpit locations na naka-subscribe na sa sagupaan global.

Thats good news for me even I am not a breeder. There will be more exposures thru the internet. There is no need for every sabongero in the province to flock in manila just to watch their birds fight if it will be streamed live via global. This solve the issue of accomodating the sabong afficinados. Mas maganda pa palagay ko kesa Araneta. Daming iktad sa Araneta. The argument that sabong in Araneta is a prestige... I disagree with that.
