If you are able to contact Gary, would you plz ask him to contact me. My Dad gave Gary a cock that was coupled that was 5/8 McKenzie Hatch-3/8 Shuffler after a tremendous win in Oklahoma in the mid 1970's. I am interested to know if Gary ever bred the cock.
Thanks

gilliam RH
a gaffer friend in L.A. sent me a pure gilliam RH pullet, pea comb, red eyes, very high stationed white legged fowl. and ohh, a beauty to behold. he said the full brothers of this pullet won a four cock derby somewhere in ca when they were still bull stags he was the one who tied the knife for this entry. am using the pullet crossing it with the pure possum of bruce w/c that friend also sent.....the resulting F1's are pure power, throws a lot of feet, has a high break and is very shifty on the ground. a lot better fighter than the pure sweaters that we have produced which are a little too aggressive to my taste....and they have better station too, the bruce sweaters that we have are medium stationed.

Anyone knows how much he is curently selling his Trios? Is Mr. Gary Gilliam still fighting his fowls? Have not heard any news about him still fighting his birds quite lately? If anyone knows please write your comments or observations.
Thanks

Some say Congressman Claude Bautista (CPB Farm Binangonan Entry) mainly used Gary Guilliam's blood (especially his "Bone Crusher" Hatch and Roundheads) in his entries which made him the back-to-back WSC champion last 2002-2003.

If you had one choice....would you buy his hatch or his roundhead, or would it be better to to buy a trio with a mixture of each?

I can only afford one trio. If I could buy both, I would. You think roundhead. What do they look like? legs, color, station, fighting style,...tell me what you saw

bc hatch and 2 broodhen roundhead
what i mean is buy a trio but not the same breed... like for example is the
broodcock is hatch and the broodhen is roundhead and will give you the 5o percent of hatch and 50 of roundhead of your offspring....sorry for not detailing......

it depends what you're going to show in, if it's lk or sk then rh. bc. and one of each hen. if gaff then you want a hatch bc and one of each hen.

I should be leaving Tuesday the 21st of November and arriving early Wednesday morning. I think it is about a 10-12 hour drive. I would love to sit and talk chickens. Who else has a farm near by?
