Re: Is there a Gamefowl Conditioning Camp (pay) here in Metro Manila Area?
Great Brunch at Campo Sta. Rita in Sucat, Paranaque, venue of the next Tare Tare on August 4th!!!
We will meet in Starbucks Santana Grove near Shopwise Sucat at 1:30 pm, and convoy to Campo Sta. Rita at 2:30pm.
Sounds ok? Do we start pledging na food and birds like last time? Sponsors from abroad are also welcome.
Please advise
Best Regards,

Re: Is there a Gamefowl Conditioning Camp (pay) here in Metro Manila Area?
Seems like Jala jala is now all clear again so i may be able to send back the cockerels for ranging. That will greatly reduce the congestion in the lot beside the camp.
Cant wait for the stag derbies to start rolling!

Sorry had to ADOPT Gila... I sparred him against one of Tito Bhe's birds, and the dang thing somehow managed to connect to the base of the skull. The western bird began convulsing and flipping over then it stiffened up. We were all weirded out.

Hi Dondi, the bayongs have not been so lucky. One died enroute from Lipa, the dom losg in the karambola. Tonight the alimbuyugin lost in daanghari's onecock timbangan. To his credit he tried to get back but was not able to survive the huge cut in his back. Oh well, he died fighting - dead game but still dead.
These bayongs really need to train longer and probably need to be molted out and slimmed down - or really just for tari sessions? One of the biggest weaknesses of fighting bayongs is the lack of confidence in them. I guess, they will be good enough for fun inthe hacks or tari tari. But Taw was so bullish hahahaha have a nice week everyone!

The adoption papers have not yet been processed. And I believe Gila might be saddened by the move to another home.... Plus I need a bayong for the tare2 What say we make him go for a 6th win, sir?

Agree. That big roundhead-looking bayong will be perfect for the hacks. If he goes to the scales, he'll be at a disadvantage. I think he'll do well in the hacks. Besides, they're due for a stroke of good luck

Sure as long as you will permit me to permanently retire him if he wins his 6th. He deserves it.

Five if we count that freak naked heel incident. I mean what are he odds that he plants his spur square on the soft area of the skull of his opponent...

Re: Is there a Gamefowl Conditioning Camp (pay) here in Metro Manila Area?
Yup and he also killed that old maclean hatch in the camp!
Anyway, just wanted to ask..... What would be the most important facilities you would expect from a conditioning camp?
Rueda or pit with lights and sound system.
Weighing scales - digital and calibrated.
Gloves.
Leg weights.
Dulled knives.
Scratching boxes.
Limbering pens -folding.
Folding derby pens.
Flypens. Teepees. Running Pens. jumping Pens.
Water.
Toilets and wash areas.
Catch cocks. punching bags.
Workout table.
Video camera. TV for playback.
Internet video cam.
ref with beer.
Barbecue Gill.
Stove and utensils.
What else?

Re: Is there a Gamefowl Conditioning Camp (pay) here in Metro Manila Area?
Green green grass, great sunshine, supply of tiecords, feeder cups, waterhose and sprinkler for grass, feed containers not prone to rats, containers for dunking birds for baths, river sand and manure in dust bath stalls, medicine cabinet for daily vitamin needs, wingbands and applicator, legbands, cabinet for your trophies.

Aside from those highlighted above, I would add off-color roosters (a dom, hennie, white) to familiarize them, secure perimeter fence, quiet area to rest birds, and ANOTHER REF WITH MORE BEER!

Thank you for the cut CPMs bro. I wish I was going with you to see the stags. Anyway, instead I went to that heat treatment place and met the head, Malcolm. Nice guy. He said they can treat the blades according to the manufacturer's specs. Even the deep freeze between tempers! Just waiting for the final quote.

Re: Is there a Gamefowl Conditioning Camp (pay) here in Metro Manila Area?
I just realized last night night that a Conditioning Camp in Metro Manila works very well to condition the COCKER aa much if not more so than the Roosters ;-)
Its like a bariatric chamber. When you go on a deep dive and have to resurface too quickly, you mght get the bends. A Bariatric chamber helps prevent/reverse that.
Its the same with the Conditioning Camp ;-) 24/7 of hard work and family concerns and all the stress of trying to make sense of this world. And a few minutes watching the birds dance and flirt with you, and holding their energetic bodies and giving them reassurimg strokes - it sure takes stress off very quickly!
Some say better than sex ;-) maybe close :-)
