** garantisado ni "idol patrick", walang entries ang sagupaan at pasay city cockpit mgt.
** submission of weights will be as follows: Provincial - 5:00 am to 10:00 am / ncr 5:00 am to 9:00 am on derby day
** to safeguard the interest of all participants, all cocks will be legbanded by sagupaan personnel.
** entry fee of p9,900 must be paid in cash upon submission of weights. Entries with unpaid entry fees will not be matched.
** eliminations ( 3-cock ) will be held in all participating provincial and national capitalregion ( ncr ) cockpit and pasay city cockpit.
** semi-finals (2-cock)- only 1 pt. Or more ang pwedeng sumali sa mga selected provincial,ncr and pasay city cockpits.
** pre-finals (4-cock) - only 2,2.5,3.,3.5 & 4 pts. Ang pwedeng sumali
** grand finals (4-cock) - only 4.5 & 5 pts. Ang pwedeng sumali sa finals sa pasay city cockpit.
** computerized & centralized matching of fights (open to the public).
** strictly no 5 or 9 straight fights will be allowed. Derby format will be followed.
** national federation of derby aficionados ( nfda ) derby rules will apply.

Gaffer's prize is only P100K ? Looks like too small for this kind of event. Baka pwede lakihan ni Idol PA. Do you have schedules for elimination in Cavite or Las Pinas?

Sir laging swerte, I believe it is in March so i expect to be there barring unforseen circumstances. Regardless, the entry will be there. If the prizes are guaranteed, the same goes with our participation. It is a gentleman's agreement. I understand it is a first for sagupaan and thus it is a huge undertaking. If done right, it will be a boon to the sabong community. There is a lot at stake and I see a lot of our OFW colleagues consulting their local counterparts where and when they will enter the qualifying rounds. It is an interesting addition to gamefowl enthusiasts. My initial reading is that if you have roosters healthy enough to go three rounds, then sali ka na at baka sakaling manalo. Very Filipino ang dating. Cheers.

Sir mel Mendoza, so the finals will be in April. I hope they could fix the dates including the elimination rounds and stick with it. The recently concluded Bakbakan derby had its share of interesting discussions regarding extension of elimination rounds. In any event, the participation of approx. 4500 entries was unprecedented and was successful. The same could be said with this coming sagupaan derby if run properly - patas at marangal. There is a lot at stake and the whole sabong community could be involved as it is billed as a national derby. A lot of consultations are going on and i will not be surprised if the participation exceeds their expectations. The industry is still growing. Good luck po.

Magandang point yan sir Jailbird, kaya lang hintay tayo ng advise from the core group ng Sagupaan derby organizers. Usually kasi sa SPC, tanghali start ng derby. I will keep you posted once we get any information sa concern mo.

Sobra namang papremyo ito sa handler 1million. buti pa maging handler na lg kaysa magbreeding wala pang gastos pagod at sakit sa ulo. In 1 month na pagod kung swertehin kikita na ng 1million.
