The WSC that I know is in the Philippines and it is always held in Cubao, Metro-Manila at the Araneta Coliseum. There is the January WSC and the May WSC!

Im thinking its going to be held 21-27 Jan...because they are advertising the World Gamefowl Expo which is to be held the 18-20 according to the PIT GAMES Magazines. The past two years they held the slasher right after the expo.

they always start the wsd 3rd monday of january for one week at the araneta'

right now everyone starting to prepare for stag season, assoc derbys & bakbakan,etc.... no one thinking about cock derbies, wait a few months, end of november, you'll have all the international derby dates.

suggest when you go to the expo & wsc, visit other cockpits in manila, pasay & san juan, you will enjoy. take the time to visit some provinces outside manila (laguna, batangas, pampanga, bataan just to name a few). very easy & cheap to fly to other islands also from manila.

rich, i expect we will have a booth again next yr in the expo, we will have the schedule for the cockpits while your in manila, pasay cockpit, plenty of excellent restaurants not too far, see if we can get you to bataan for an evening, fight a couple fowl in a local cockpit, then some good food & san miguel(excellent restaurant beside the abucay cockpit). jim

I've purchased airline tickect to go to the world slacher but I got the worng dates, I would be there 3wks early is there any other mayor fights around the the time I would be there
