3/4 mclean hatch 1/4 blueface hatch = high action hatch (concocted by mami lacson).
Mine came from the late Mayor Joel B. Brillantes. thru Blackwing, that's why I got to know the composition of what pinoys called high action hatch.

"High Action Hatch" one of the best pound 4 pound, but what caught my attention and admiration was the hatch cross breed by DALUBHASA ENTRY that I saw last '03 and '04 Bakbakan Stag Derbies, they call it "Triple Hatch" the first time I saw a hatch that is abang and breaks high, I think all the green legged fowl they fought at that time was won convincingly.

Our Broodcock came from Mr.N.Abello.Dark legged, dark red and pea comb and high station.Super hardhitters and shufflers. We crossed it to sweater hens and vice versa. Also crossed to lacy roundheads.Gotta wait in 18mons to 2yrs though for results.

from my interview with him a few years ago, a few weeks before he died, he said the high action hatch is a combination of the light and dark mcleans from harold brown. he then infuses on one side, the blueface hatch and the marion rose mclean on the other. breed them in and breed them out. since he's dead already, his son joey (his late great dad swears joey is the better selector than mamie) is continuing the line now.

One of the Champion in Bakbakan '04 used stags out of his "Sweater-Hi" combination. That's the way he call 'em !!!

i guess joey sells. biboy enriquez got some hatches from him last year. the hi action hatch was a product of the 2 gentlemen, mamie and nene. but i guess any family raised by 2 different fellas after a decade or so will definitely be similar in some ways, but also in a lot of ways different. mamie's have that vertical leap with plenty of shuffles all the way down. nene abello's too. the best way to get to know these fowls is to talk to the breeders themselves.

I'm also crossing my Hi-Action hatch (dark legged) broodcock w/ BB sweater (yellow legged) due to its success in the bakbakan 2004.
My Tripple Hatch is a combination of High Action Hatch over Democrat hatch (white legged).
In both combination, birds came with dirty white feet.

Emoy is Correct !!!
"Roadmaster" is producing what they call "Sweater-Hi" strain !!! I was with Joey not long ago with my Kumpadre Capt. Dingdong & B. Ledesma and have acquired Family of this Line...
My Hi- Action fowls was a gift from Mr. B. Ledesma himself !!!
Joey Bravo,
I would think that your'e on the right combinations !!! Keep on cocking !!!

Hi Action McLeans
Sir Emoy,
Oo nga ano! I've seen Firebird's Mclean crosses fight and win in Araneta. A total package I may say. Complete arsenal - vertical flying capabilities, outstanding bottom and real superb cutting!
I'll text Sir Biboy kung may naliligaw na trio.
Regards,
Oak man

Nice Pic Amigo Espanol!
I'll try to get a picture of my Hi-Action Hatch (JBB) broodcock for comparison.
Mine looks more like a Mclean.

Mine looks like that too. The Mclean influence is very prominent.

Aside from Joey Lacson, the nephew of the late Mamie Lacson, Paquito Serios maintains them in Negros. Here in Luzon another close relative breeds them in Lipa, Batangas. Boy Vargas of Pitbull Gamefarm.
