Yes I have. Ronnie is were I got my albany and who taught me everything I know about getting a cock ready for battle. Now back to the albanys. they break, cut, very game and have power to the end. Ronnie and I cross them with our Roundhead and it makes one hell of a cock.

Kelly, do you have the same albany and roundhead blood that Jimbo Cox has? Brian Corkren was kind enough to bring us over to Jimbo's place in Arlee last June 2002, the same day you guys got home from Oklahoma...... I saw some albany/roundhead crosses that were outstanding. They were fast and furious fighters who hit hard, feet out and body away....They showed good defense too....hard to hit and they shuffle even when they are back pedalling.....

I know my roundhead blood is not the same as Jimbos, as for the albany's I dont know if they recieved any from Ronnie or not. My al/rhead are what I fought when I won the Hawaiian derby, and in the PI they won 171/2 out of 24 fights.

Derby ?
Hi Kelly,
What derby or event you consider participating this year and 2004? And what kinda of birds you gonna use this time. Just curious. Are you in PI now or still AL. Take care and more power to you.

ronnie rodgers
our albany line is from Kelly Green but they will be shown sometime in 2005. we will definitely have some RH-albany crosses just like Kelly's entries during his 2003 visit to the Phil..we would like to hear from others who had experience with the Ronnie Rodgers/Kelly Green Albany bloodline......good luck to Kelly!

Hey Kelly,
Benjie here. Sorry I haven't been able to call. Just want to let you know that the roosters and hens arrived safely. I sparred the rooster you sent, I was really happy with his style and power. He'll be in the breeding pen by the end of the month. I'm breeding the hen to the Bobby grey. See you when you get here. Tell pam I said hi.

Green Mountain Albanys
Kelly with the help of course from his wonderful wife Pamela, sent me some of his albanys. He donated a trio to Alabama GBA auction and I won it. He also sent me those green leg leipers. All I can say is, they are very powerful fowls and beautiful too with class!

Hi EEA,
Kelly could answer this. I'm presently here in Washington State. Many have seen his fowls compete at the Araneta Coliseum and I'm sure, many fowls have been at the broodpens around the country since none of those that were sent in the Philippines can come back here in the states. Thanks!

Green Mountain Albany
Ed,
Give me another year and I'll make those Albanys available for you. I got the ones Kelly and Pam personally used to produce breeders. Let's just hope it will be worth the wait.
BTW, the Simbeck RH crossed to the White Clarets are awesome, thanks for your input that you made last year.
Best,
Troy a.k.a. spangle

Troy, thanks for keeping me in your plans for next year. Kelly Green's Albany when crossed with the RH should continue its winning history.
However, if you take the Steve S. RH x White Claret and cross it to the Kelly Green's Albany, you should have another winning line but recyclable (multiple winners) because it will have the brains, timing and accurate cutting. By having a recyclable line and many multiple winners, you do not have to produce a lot, which less maintenance cost in the long run. Then, take all the multiple winners and enter them in the WSD and Candelaria Derby, I believe that you will have a good chance to bring the trophies home.
Good luck my friend.

Albanys
Ed,
You hit it right on the button, the sisters to the stags that I got from the White Claret X Steve RH are now mated to the Kelly Green Albany. Let's see if this will work.
Baguhan,
Remind me early October next year, I'm grading the Albany to 3/4 and 1/4 Roundhead from Kelly. This February, the broodcock will be mated to some green legged Albany that I am getting from Kelly.
Thanks,
Spangle
